Hey all, Just got out of the hospital, and found out how bad my insurance is! Need money. For sale:
1. Trainwreck amp built for me by Matt Corey. This amp is like a JCM800 on steroids. Check out one on YouTube. Look up 'Can You Hear It Ring'. It uses either two EL34s or 6V6 power tubes. Come play it, try it. $450. Of course it cost me more.
2. Marshall 1960 Lead 4 x 12" cabinet. Some wear, works and sounds great. With casters. $350. Sounds killer with the Trainwreck.
Discount if by chance someone wants both. Thanks!

That is a very cool amp. I love the head cab too, "looks like it was built by a guy who grew up on a farm" (Matt, you ol devil, it's a great amp! )

Actually, Mike built the cab. It looks much more betterrer than any of mine do! And he can play the amp better than me. And the guitar too. Neiloler wrote That is a very cool amp. Matt,
How was it building this amp? Do you have any pics? I was thinking of building one of these someday.

James, It was an interesting build. I used a chassis that I already had that was 17x10x3. Pretty big. Here's some pics. http://mcorey.dsl.xmission.com/tw_ex/power_tubes.jpghttp://mcorey.dsl.xmission.com/tw_ex/power_w_flash.jpghttp://mcorey.dsl.xmission.com/tw_ex/pre_board.jpghttp://mcorey.dsl.xmission.com/tw_ex/whole_thing.jpgIt is a very cool sounding amp, but could probably benefit from some better tubes. I think it's all JJs right now which aren't bad, but everyone I know that's played a real 'Wreck or a good clone says that they really like good NOS tubes, more-so than most other amps. Matt

Thanks Matt for building me such a nice amp, and thanks for being so understanding that I needed to sell it for medical bills. I knew that as soon as it was gone, I would regret it! Just for anyone's info, once Matt was done with the amp, he tweaked it a bit too, to accomodate me. Matt is a great builder. He has built me a few amps now, and I am surely going to continue having him build for me! Thanks again all.
